Before leaving St. George we had a good visit with Elder Beus at “The Burger Place.” This is the restaurant his grandfather owns. In Beaver we stopped to get gas and encountered the Great Tire Scam. Even though we know it’s a scam, Robert saw a place in two of the tires where the steel belt was showing through, so he went ahead and bought four new tires for the truck. We knew we would have to do it as soon as we hit Logan anyway.

We stopped for dinner at Maddox and made it back to Logan while it was still light. We can’t even describe how wonderful it was to finally, really be at home in Logan. We’ve been waiting for this moment since we started building this house in the fall of 2004. The house looked absolutely wonderful. It was spotlessly clean. Cade and Andi had purchased a beautiful new TV for us, a TV stand, a new couch and loveseat, lamps and accessories. We loved it all. And we were thrilled with the new fireplace. It’s more beautiful than we ever imagined. We are grateful for all that Cade and Andi have done to make such a fabulous homecoming for us.

It was a special treat to sleep in our own bed, in our master bedoom, and hope Cade and Andi are happy in their new room downstairs.

When we walked through the door of the house it finally felt like the mission is really over. We are so glad to have finished it and be home.
