What a lot we got done today! I defrosted the frig…remember this is the old fashioned you put the hot water in the freezer kind of frig. Robert cleaned the oven. We got all the food out of the cupboards and took 3 small boxes of food to Maxine and 1 large box to Juliet. We also gave Maxine some frozen food. We kept only what I need to cook with on Friday and breakfast Saturday (the Elders will be here) and then whatever we thought the Elders might use. There are rumors that President Craig is putting the Elders here full time after we leave. That would be interesting.

After finishing the kitchen Robert cleaned the floor and then vacuumed and dusted the whole trailer. I cleaned the bathroom and put up a new shower curtain. We discovered that the bathroom sink is leaking so Robert called Bill. No doubt he was thrilled that we could report one last problem before we leave. So we have a bowl catching the leak for the time being. Bill said it would be a while before they get out here. No more same day service from the maintenance crew. We were definitely among their favorites and we think it will be a while before the Elders achieve that same status.

We also did some more packing. I took Maxine my brown coat and the suit I bought for the mission. Alfred and Thelma came over for a few minutes and we visited with Juliet and Byron for a few. Byron is distant. Can’t figure out what’s going on with him and guess now we never will. Ken and LaFawn came in for a minute when he came for scouts. She drove down with him so that he can drive the van back. We’re glad they’re not leaving it here with us gone.

Boring report but what can we say? It was just that kind of day…boring, but lots that needed to be done.
