On the Road Again! That’s definitely got to be our mission theme song. Left early this morning for Phoenix. Robert is forming some eternal friendships at the Deseret Industries in Mesa. We got there about noon and loaded 4 twin mattresses, 2 box springs, 2 bunk bed pads, 1 bunk bed, and 2 twin bed frames on our truck. To make everything fit we had to put one mattress on top on the luggage rack. We have finally metamorphosed into true trailer trash and did we ever look the part! We brought all this back to Thelma and Alfred Ivins. Their children, who are not small human beings but quite large humans, have all been sleeping on the floor. Now they have mattresses, but the 14-year-old boy said he really wanted a full bed. Life can be tough.

We stopped at a new mall in Superstition Springs. It was really nice. Huge! We did a little shopping, had lunch, and got back to Cibecue about 7:30.

After unloading all our beds, we pulled up to the trailer to find the Elders wandering around the outside of the trailer. We looked at each other and said, “What the heck are they doing?” (When’s the last time anyone ever heard Linda say “What the heck?”) Seems the Elders came this afternoon and left their keys inside the trailer as they locked the door on their way out. They were looking for some way in as we pulled up.

This morning I left roast and potatoes and carrots in the crock-pot for dinner. The meat was good but the vegetables weren’t done. I’ve been having trouble cooking things in this crock pot so guess Robert’s going to have to get me a new one for Valentine’s Day. This same meal cooked just fine in Shawn and Veda’s crock-pot.

You actually shop at a place called Superstition Springs? Scary. Very scary.

I'm excited that your Temple group have their recommends. We'll keep them in our prayers to help them get to the Temple. How neat would that be?

You know, you should count your blessings that the people in Cibecue just don't come to church when they get new callings. Our RS president is moving to Tucson. NEXT WEEK. Since she's going, I'm getting released along with the other counselor. Do you think that counts as the shortest stint in history?
