Out the door by 7:00 AM again today. Robert had a dentist appointment at 8:00 in Show Low to get the crown put on that tooth he broke. We shopped for groceries, got some pictures developed and came home about 1:00. The Elders were here, so we talked with them for a while then went visiting. We are trying to decide how many people are going to the temple with us tomorrow.

First we went to Irene’s. She informed us that Tamara and her mother, the night of Tamara’s wedding, beat up Irene’s granddaughter. So she’s thinking about not coming to church any more. But she wanted Robert to come back with the Elders later tonight and give her a blessing. They did that, but guess she’s not going to the temple.

Alfred and Thelma can’t come because they’ll be at a Wake. Betty will be visiting a sick relative and Cheryl will be at a Wake. At least Murphy wants to go. Discouraging day.

Spent the rest of the night with the Elders. They’re trying to schedule 4 baptisms. It looks like one might happen tomorrow morning. It’s just so hard to pin anyone down around here and get them to commit. Tamara was supposed to come here at 8:00 for her baptismal interview and never showed. But the one baptism we think will happen is Arnell Gooday. He’s 8 and comes to Primary. When we left we thought he was going to be baptized next week, but he told the Elders he wanted to wait until this week so I could be there. Now there’s a bright spot in our day!
