Another fun week in the Charlton mission saga. Cade and Andi arrived in Phoenix Monday night at 10:30. We went to Phoenix early on Monday and did some shopping, had my computer checked out at the apple store, and met Sharon and Ray for dinner and a good visit.

Tuesday we had breakfast with Sharon and Ray, shopped a little, and came up to Cibecue.

Wednesday we stayed around Cibecue all day. Cade and Andi met some of the members here.

Thursday we went to the museum in Fort Apache and drove around through Show Low and Snowflake.

Friday we went back to Snowflake for our Family Services Staff meeting and then back to Phoenix.

Cade and Andi left on the 7:00 AM flight on Saturday morning. We went back to the motel for a couple hours of sleep then continued furnishing every home in Cibecue with Deseret Industries furniture. Robert will not sleep until each and every dwelling has redecorated. We picked up 2 beds (mattress, box springs, frames, mattress pads), 1 queen size and 1 full size, which fit nicely in the bed of the pickup. I was relieved we didn’t have to tie anything on top, as that crosses the redneck line a little more than I’m comfortable with. Had a lovely lunch at McGrath’s, thanks to Randy finding the address on the internet for us. Got home about 6:00 PM. Robert delivered the mattresses and we watched a movie and went to bed.

Today was crazy Sunday again, always busy. We have some big plans coming up. This week we have Relief Society activity, then Sunday will be Fast Sunday because of Conference. We want to start having a pot luck dinner after church on Fast Sunday, but President Bonito missed the whole pot luck point and wants someone (that would be me) to plan the dinner and get people to sign up to bring stuff. We’re also going back to Phoenix Friday and Saturday, yep, more furniture, and then to General Conference with Bonitos. So we have some fun stuff planned but the next couple of weeks will be busy.

P.S. Happy Anniversary to us! As of today we’ve been in the mission field 6 months. One year from now we’ll be on our way home.
