Time to pick up food orders. We got more food today than we ever have. At least you can’t say we haven’t fed the poor on our mission. The order for the 12 people just about defeated the Avalanche, but our truck emerged victorious. There was one bad moment when it had to shift gears to go up a very small hill. We know it was embarrassed, but the poor thing was doing the best it could. Also went to Wal-Mart. Ugh! We are thoroughly sick of both the Show Low Wal-Mart and the Snowflake Storehouse.
Just past Cibecue Mountain Alma called. She wanted to know if we could drive her to her mother-in-law’s house to get some food for their dinner. We did. When we got back to her apartment she asked if we could bring her some flour to make fry bread. We said we might, but not sure we could get back because Robert had a counseling appointment. She said, well, if we didn’t she would come over and get it. Now how come she can find a ride to come to our house and get our flour but she can’t find a way to get to her mother-in-law’s house? Makes one wonder, doesn’t it? We wanted to be done with her for the day so we stopped at the commercial center and bought 5 lbs. of flour and took it back to her. Last week the missionaries were all excited because they visited with Gilbert and Alma and were told they want to get married and then get baptized. We felt bad because we really deflated them when we said this would be at least the 8th time they’ve scheduled their wedding and subsequent baptism. On a more positive note, Famisha is an absolute doll! We hadn’t seen her for a while and couldn’t believe how cute she is.
Byron Henry came for his counseling appointment and that’s what Robert is doing as I write this.
Yesterday Robert cooked boiled eggs for our lunch. He burned them. I honestly had never seen a burned, hard-boiled egg before. I’m not sure if all the water boiled out of the pan, or if the pan was just so cheap it overheated and burned the eggs. Anyway, it was pretty funny.
Despite the rumors, I don't live here anymore

That is impressive. It reminds me of the time when Cade and I were first married and we almost started honey butter on fire.. It doesn't really get much easier than boiled eggs and honey...-butter-...
This news doesn't do great things for your offers...
