HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!

February 14, 2008

After our morning exercise we cooked breakfast for the Elders (waffles and ham). These two Elders were out the door by 10:00. It’s been a long time since the Elders here left before noon. They worked really hard all day and had some good contacts.

We spent the morning making an inventory of all the things in the trailer. We have wanted to do this ever since we came and had no idea of what was here. If another couple comes we’ll be able to tell them exactly what’s available here, right down to the number of spoons in the drawer. My OCD will actually benefit someone, instead of just driving poor Robert as crazy as I already am.

After a spaghetti lunch, the Elders left again. I scrapbooked and Robert read. We got more boxes ready to mail, some to ourselves and some to grandkids (still nothing for the adult children…sorry!).

After dinner (round steak, peas, baguette, baked potatoes and banana bread) the Elders visited Gilbert and Alma. They’ve sort of been off our list for a while. Pretty soon the Elders called and wanted to know if there’s a time we could take Gilbert and Alma to Whiteriver to get a marriage license. Forgive us for not being very excited. We’ve probably planned their wedding at least 3 times already. We said we could take them next Friday but don’t know what they need to get the license. The Elders gave them Pres Bonito’s phone number and left it in their court to call and get the information they need. Very wise! Lefler is catching on quickly.

We’re expecting another snowstorm tonight and tomorrow. We hope we can get to our Family Services meeting tomorrow. This is our last one and we’ll be very disappointed if we miss it.
