Last night was wonderful! We slept so soundly. We stayed at a Hampton Inn in Scottsdale and believe it or not the whole night we never heard anyone shouting, no war cries, not even a dog. It was quiet. That’s a new experience for us lately. In addition, the temperature was perfect in the room. We didn’t even sweat. We both slept like logs and enjoyed every minutes. And I finished Harry Potter. What a great book!
For all the Family Fitness Followers, we got our walk in yesterday and today. Today we walked the Chandler Mall. Yesterday we walked Fashion Square. What a great way to exericise. After our walk we had an appointment at the Apple Store. Everything’s fine with the computer. We just think they’re cute guys and like their attention. Actually I had a couple of questions, which they answered just fine, and all is well.
At noon we met Alfred, Thelma, and Thelma’s sister, Velma (creativity in naming their children is not an Apache trait…these two are not twins) at the Deseret Industries store in Mesa. Velma has a truck, so they came to help pick up their furniture. That’s the first time anyone has made an attempt to help. We brought back a kitchen table, 6 chairs and 5 dressers. Thelma passed on the couches…too shabby even for the rez.
We started up again with the ARP group because we had a guy who requested it. Regardless, we’re maintaining our group attendance average at 0. Alma said Gilbert promised to attend, but we haven’t seen him. Robert Ivins did come by. He brought tithing for us to give President Bonito for the second time in a week. We need to remind him that we’re not Catholic. You can’t buy penance in the Mormon Church. He was inebriated enough that we think we should count him as an ARP attendee.
We were followed up the drive by a group of kids wanting candy. We don’t let them in the trailer any more. They did ask if they could come in and do their homework, but we stayed strong and said no.
It’s a nice night here…not so hot. Phoenix was over 100 degrees, so it was nice to get back to the mountains.
Despite the rumors, I don't live here anymore

I love the walk around the mall idea! We need to do that a few times. Cade is going strong this week. I had a rough start to the week, but I'm going to pick it up tonight!
Cade who? Is that the guy who keeps calling me, leaving voice mails, and then is never home when I try to return the call?
We to stay firm about the candy. Of course, you could offer candy for each tarantula the kids catch around the church. Might be a way to increase pest control and teach the novel concept of "work for pay."
Cade...cade...never heard of him...maybe he's only a figment.
