We started our day at the Indian Health Center here in Cibecue where Robert presented a training for the staff on dealing with burnout. He did a great job. There were 12 people there. Afterwards one lady came up and said she attended Weber State for a year. She’s a clerk at the center and said she’d like to drop by the trailer and visit with us sometime.

After the meeting we gave ourselves a partial p-day. We went to Show Low for no really good reason, except we were out of bottled water. We did buy some material for our next quilting day at Relief Society. We ate lunch at a Chinese buffet that was quite good and I bought some new capris at Penney’s. They were having a great sale and it was fun just to take my time and shop a little bit.

Got home in time to cook dinner for the Elders, who were in no hurry to leave tonight. We talked with them for almost 2 hours. Elder Rogers and Elder Day are great. They are dedicated missionaries with a good sense of humor. They went to the Easter Egg hunt today that we forgot about. Said there were lots of people there but no one at home. Every appointment they made yesterday fell through. Disappointing, but that’s missionary work.

We’re continuing to work on our next round of temple-goers. This time things seem to be moving slowly. Robert has tried to convince President Bonito that because of Easter a lot of these people won’t be in church Sunday (I know…you’d think they’d come on Easter, but it’s a big family holiday here and they go other places to be with the family) and so it might be good for him to go to them and get their interviews done. President refuses to budge. He does his branch president work on Sunday, and Sunday only. Guess the Lord will have to help us out here.
