October 19-21, 2007
Friday we had Family Services staff meeting. Richardsons, the couple that has been in Ganado, is going home in two weeks. They have been out for 23 months. We weren’t motivated to extend. It was a good training. We always like these meetings. Afterwards Rosie went to Wal-Mart with me and we bought materials for our quilting activity next Thursday.
Saturday we taught another temple lesson to Byron and Juliet. Then we had branch temple day. We had 6 Apaches in the session and 8 white folk representing Cibecue Branch. Fort Apache branch was also there. They had 2 Apaches and 4 missionaries. Made us pretty proud of our little branch.
Sunday we had a great attendance at church again. I had 11 children in Primary and we had about 50 adults in addition at Sacrament meeting. In Primary we made a paper flowers for President Bonito. Each child wrote something about him on their flower then we put them in a vase and gave them to him. It made him cry. Bro McNeil had his big community meeting about starting an arts and crafts business. No one came. Welcome to our world!
We forgot one story about Maxine and David in Salt Lake. On Sunday after they were all done Maxine said they went back to the hotel and David got in bed. But she decided they needed to shop for souvenirs to bring back to the kids. She made David get out of bed and go shopping. Shopping where…you might ask. Wal-Mart of course. You can take the kids out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the kids.
Despite the rumors, I don't live here anymore

Hey that woman can find amazing gifts at Walmart. Remember how cute those Easter presents were?! I had no idea they had the things she bought there. I guess we should view it as a talent!
