Seventeen more Sundays. Time is certainly passing quickly.

When Robert went to pick up Jared this morning, he was still feeling the effects of the funeral for his friend yesterday. Robert talked to him and told him that one of the jobs of the Holy Ghost is to comfort and help us heal. Then he suggested that maybe Jared could bear his testimony and share some of his feelings with others. So Jared did and he gave a wonderful testimony. He shared his feelings about his friend and the peace he was able to feel when he came to church. It really was lovely.

Robert also bore his testimony and did a great job. Bro. Wilcock bore his and said God must love him more than other people because he let him be serving in Cibecue when so many great things have come to pass here. What a great way to look at our service here.

Afterwards we had our cake and ice cream. They ate it all. What a surprise! Then we had a ward council meeting to plan the Thanksgiving dinner. President showed us some pictures of a new building they would like to put here in Cibecue. We are so excited. It certainly won’t happen until long after we leave, but it’s in the works. It’s a modular, prefab type building, but really very attractive and it would have CLASSROOMS! It’s a one-story building and would even have electrical wiring that would support computers and fancy new stuff like that. They want to build it on this property and President Seamen is talking to the tribe about renting a room at the school to hold church while they tear down the old building and bring in the new one. We would be so happy for this little branch if that could happen.
